Toubkal in Summer and

Winter

Jbel Toubkal offers two unique experiences depending on the season. In summer, the dry trails and clear skies allow for long days of trekking through arid landscapes and endless panoramas. In winter, snow and ice transform the mountain into a more technical and demanding alpine challenge. Two distinct ways to experience the Atlas, always with the grandeur of Jbel Toubkal as the ultimate reward.

Practical introduction to basic wall climbing techniques

This morning will be dedicated to learning the basic techniques for safe and independent rock climbing. We'll work on pitch alternation, setting up and managing belay stations, belaying from above and below, and rappelling techniques for the descent. In the afternoon, we'll put these skills into practice on a short and accessible route in Riglos, ideal for beginners. Overnight in a comfortable hotel to rest and prepare for the next day.

CECILIA BUIL

Professional climber, climbing guide and instructor

For me, every person and every mountain is unique. I like to design tailored, unhurried experiences where you enjoy the journey, learn something new, and strengthen that connection with nature that changes us from within.

I've spent over two decades traveling the world in search of new walls, ice, and routes: from Greenland, Pakistan, Mexico, and Alaska, to the Alps and Canada. But I've also grown as a climber in iconic locations like Riglos and the Pyrenees. I've climbed in diverse styles—aid, free, ice, big wall—and have led long expeditions, national teams, and trained climbing coaches.

Today, I offer all this experience to those who want to connect with the mountains in a safe, sustainable, and authentic way. My philosophy as a guide is based on safety, respect for the environment, and connecting with the mountains to transform people.
