Journey to the heart of the Himalayas and discover Earth’s most majestic stage: Nepal, the kingdom where mountains touch the sky. This journey is far more than a trek; it is a pilgrimage to the "Roof of the World," home to eight of the planet’s fourteen 8,000-meter peaks, including the legendary Everest and the sacred Annapurna. You will walk ancestral trails flanked by prayer flags, cross suspension bridges over glacial rivers, and challenge yourself with ascents that will test both your physical and mental resilience. Whether you seek to reach Base Camp, complete the Annapurna Circuit, or summit technical peaks like Island Peak or Mera Peak, Nepal offers a transformative experience where wild nature and Buddhist spirituality merge with every step.

The Sanctuary of the
Ice Giants
Venture into the Khumbu Valley or the Annapurna Sanctuary and walk in the shadow of granite and ice colossi. Our routes are designed to offer the most breathtaking views on the planet, bringing you face-to-face with legends such as Lhotse, Makalu, or Ama Dablam. It is not just about the view, but about feeling the sheer magnitude of the mountains; every day of the ascent rewards you with golden sunrises over snow-capped peaks and high-altitude landscapes that will make you feel small, yet infinitely alive.

Sherpa Culture: Hospitality in the Highlands
The magic of Nepal lies as much in its summits as in its people. During your journey, you will immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Sherpa people, world-renowned for their endurance and human warmth. You will stay in traditional Teahouses (mountain lodges), where the glow of the stove and a warm tea await you after each day's trek. You will visit Buddhist monasteries, spin prayer wheels, and share stories with local guides who consider the mountain a sacred place, making your trip an authentic and respectful cultural immersion.

Technical Ascents and Safe Acclimatization
For those seeking to go a step beyond trekking, we offer the opportunity to summit iconic 6,000 or 7,000-meter peaks. We design itineraries with a meticulous acclimatization strategy, prioritizing your safety and maximizing your chances of reaching the summit successfully.
You will have the support of a top-tier logistics team, including porters and certified high-mountain guides, ensuring that your only concern is enjoying the mountain.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The magnet of the world
For those who dream of seeing the tallest mountain on Earth and experiencing Sherpa culture.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp
Hike the most iconic trail on the planet through the heart of the Khumbu Valley. You'll visit ancient monasteries like Tengboche and experience the most spectacular sunrise in the Himalayas from the Kala Patthar viewpoint (5,643 m), face to face with Mount Everest.
-2.webp)
Trekking from the 3 High Passes to EBC
The ultimate trek for demanding trekkers seeking a physical challenge and solitude. You'll cross three passes over 5,000 meters (Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La), exploring the wildest and least-traveled corners of the region.

Lobuche Peak
(6,119 m)
A perfect ice pyramid for those seeking a more alpine aesthetic than Island Peak. It offers a more sustained and technical climb, rewarding you with one of the closest and most breathtaking views of Everest from its summit.

Ama Dablam
(6,812 m)
Known as the "Matterhorn of the Himalayas," it is the most beautiful mountain in the valley. It's not a peak trekking expedition, but rather a technical rock, ice, and mixed climbing expedition, reserved for experienced mountaineers seeking a world-renowned challenge.

Trekking to EBC via Gokyo
A spectacular variant that adds color to the high mountains. You'll hike alongside the sacred turquoise lakes of Gokyo, climb to the Gokyo Ri viewpoint, and cross the challenging Cho La pass to connect with the classic route to Base Camp.

Island Peak
(6,189 m)
The ideal objective to summit your first 6,000-meter peak. It combines an accessible approach with an exciting final day on a glacier, crevasses, and an airy ridge, all under the imposing shadow of Lhotse's south face.

Mera Peak
(6,476 m)
The highest trekking peak in Nepal. Its main difficulty is the altitude, not the technical aspects, making it an accessible physical challenge. Your reward will be unique: seeing five eight-thousanders simultaneously (Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga).

Is your destination not on the list? CONTACT US
We design your adventure. Nepal is inexhaustible, and our published routes are just the beginning. If you have a different region in mind or are looking to combine specific activities, we can make it happen. Tell us about your project, and we'll create a unique, customized itinerary.
THIS IS HOW WE ORGANIZE YOUR TRIP TO NEPAL
✈️ Comprehensive Logistics: Focus Only on the Trek
Forget about the complex Nepalese bureaucracy. We handle everything from the moment you arrive in Kathmandu: airport transfers, hotel stays with breakfast in the city, and all mountain logistics. This includes road transfers (such as to Ramechhap) and necessary internal flights (Lukla, Pokhara, etc.) including baggage fees. Your only task is to enjoy the scenery; we manage the rest.
🧭 Local Guides and Sherpa Culture
You aren't a tourist; you are a guest. You will be accompanied by a local guide who is an expert in the terrain and the culture. Beyond showing you the way, they will open the doors to local customs and manage the group's pace. Additionally, we offer pre-trip advice and orientation to ensure you arrive physically and mentally prepared for the challenge.
🛡️ Security and Permission Management
Your safety is our priority. We include all required permits (TIMS, National Park entrance fees such as Sagarmatha, local taxes) so you don't waste time on paperwork. We have liability and accident insurance. In addition, our team carries a first-aid kit and provides full administrative support to coordinate helicopter evacuations in case of emergency.
👥 Small Groups for an Intimate Experience
Expeditions are carried out in open groups of between 6 and 8 people to guarantee personalized attention and fluid group dynamics. If you prefer to come with your own group or are interested in an expedition on specific dates, we also organize custom trips. Contact us for a no-obligation consultation!
🎒 Porters and Light Loads
Your back will thank you. We include local porter services so you can hike light, carrying only your daypack with the essentials. They will transport up to 13 kg of your main luggage (duffel bag) between lodges. Beyond making your ascent easier, hiring them directly supports the local economy of the valleys, ensuring a living wage and fair conditions (insurance and equipment included).
🏠 Life in the 'Tea Houses' and Full Board
We'll sleep in authentic mountain lodges (Tea Houses) in shared double rooms, the social heart of the Himalayas. Forget about cooking or carrying food: the trip includes full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) throughout the trek. You'll enjoy hot, energizing meals to replenish your strength, as well as tea, coffee, and hot water to stay hydrated after each day.
🗓️ Flexible Dates: Spring and Autumn
We travel exclusively during the two best weather windows in the Himalayas to guarantee clear skies and pleasant temperatures. Unlike traditional agencies, we don't tie you to a single fixed departure date: we offer flexibility within these months. Schedule a call with our team to review the calendar and confirm the exact dates that best suit your availability.
“I never thought I'd be capable of doing such a long trek, much less completing the Annapurna Circuit. At first, I was scared: the altitude, the cold, whether my body could handle it... But the Altura Expeditions' team helped me prepare, explained how to go step by step, and how to listen to my own pace. Every day was a discovery: villages, kind people, local food, and landscapes that don't seem real. When I finished the circuit, I felt a mix of pride and joy that I had never felt before. It proved to me that it's never too late to live a dream if you have the right guidance.”
✨ Eleanor, 55 years old — Annapurna Circuit
"We were a group of 12 people with widely different fitness levels, and at first we thought: 'Can we do it?' But from the first day, Alberto guided us, explained how to acclimatize, and helped us enjoy every step. Staying in the tea houses was magical: good food, local stories, and views that left us speechless. Reaching Everest Base Camp all together was incredible, and summiting Island Peak... wow, that gave us an immense feeling of pride. We all left feeling more united, happy, and certain that we had experienced something unique."
🏔️ Mountain Club “The Summit Seekers” — EBC Trekking + Island Peak
"This was our first adventure like this, and honestly, we didn't even know where to start. Every day was a spectacle: mountains, villages, prayer flags... Everything left us breathless. Mike taught us to ascend calmly, control the altitude, and enjoy the journey. Every tea house was like a small home with incredible people. Reaching Lobuche Peak was brutal: tiredness, emotion, and pride mixed together. We had never felt anything like it. Nepal changed us."
🌄 Chloe and Ben, 28 and 30 years old — Trekking + Lobuche Peak
