Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the Moroccan High Atlas, where three of its most iconic peaks await you: Jbel Toubkal (4,167 m), Ras n'Ouanoukrim (4,083 m), and Timesguida n'Ouanoukrim (4,089 m). This trek will take you through stunning landscapes, from verdant valleys to snow-capped peaks, and will immerse you in the rich Berber culture. The route begins in the picturesque village of Imlil and ascends gradually, allowing for proper acclimatization before tackling the demanding summit climbs. During the journey, you will spend the night in strategically located mountain refuges, enjoying local hospitality and panoramic views that reward every step.

This trek presents no technical difficulties, but requires good physical condition to tackle several consecutive days of high-altitude hiking. The main challenge is the altitude, as we will exceed 4,000 meters on three occasions. Ideal for those seeking a challenging yet accessible high-altitude experience.

ROUTE ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrival in Marrakech
Airport pickup and transfer to your accommodation. Free time to explore the medina and souks, or simply relax on a terrace overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Overnight in a traditional riad.
DAY 2
Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)
Private transfer to Imlil, a Berber village at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains. Meet with the local team and begin the trek. Gradually ascend through the Aït Mizane Valley to the Toubkal refuge, where we will spend the night.
Elevation gain: +1,500 m / 5-6 hours of walking.
DAY 3
Ascent to Toubkal (4,167m) – Return to the Refuge
An early start to reach the highest peak in North Africa: Jbel Toubkal. From the summit, there are spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, even the desert. Descent to the refuge for a rest.
Elevation gain: ±1,000m / 5-6 hours.
DAY 4
Timesguida (4,089m) + Ras (4,083m) – Descent to Imlil
Intense and spectacular day: climb two less-frequented 4,000-meter peaks in a panoramic alpine journey. After summiting both peaks, a long descent to Imlil. Overnight in local accommodation.
Elevation gain: +1,000m / -2,400m / 8-9 hours.
DAY 5
Imlil – Marrakech
Relaxing morning followed by return transfer to Marrakech. Free afternoon for shopping, sightseeing, or a traditional hammam. Last night in the riad to conclude the trip with mint tea under the stars.
DAY 6
Return home
Transfer to the airport and return flight to Spain. End of the adventure… on to the next summit!

High mountain, climbing and canyoning guide
Choosing a mountain guide goes far beyond following someone who knows the path. It means entrusting your safety, your experience, and your dreams of adventure to someone who lives and breathes the mountains.
I'm Jordi Richart and I live in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, in the Tena Valley, surrounded by the peaks that have shaped me since I was a child. Although I was born in Valencia, it was in the Pyrenees that I found my home, my calling, and my way of life. Thanks to my family, I learned about the mountains from a young age, hiking trails in the Benasque Valley and reaching my first peaks while others were still discovering their love of nature.
At 16, I was already climbing, descending canyons, and accumulating experiences in every corner of these mountains. A year later, I decided to leave everything behind and move to the Pyrenees to fully live my passion. Since then, every day has been an opportunity to grow as a mountain professional. I worked as a piste-rescuer in Formigal and today I work as a high-mountain guide, a climbing guide, and a canyon guide. What I enjoy most is sharing this passion with you, accompanying you on your challenges, and helping you discover the magic of the mountains in a safe and authentic way.
